SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 27
(By Senators Humphreys, Grubb, Walker and Wehrle)
Congratulating the East Bank High School football team on winning
the 1993 Class AA football championship.
Whereas, The East Bank High School football team ended its
1993 season with a 13-1 record; and
Whereas, The East Bank High School football team
participated in the state championship play-offs and won the
Class AA championship; and
Whereas, For three out of the last five years, East Bank
High School has won the state Class AA championship; and
Whereas, Head coach Ralph Hensley and the members of his
coaching staff take great pride in leading their team to victory;
and
Whereas, The athletic ability of the 1993 East Bank High
School football team, together with the outstanding sportsmanship
of each player, helped to make winning the state Class AA
championship a reality; therefore, be it
Resolved by the Senate:
That the East Bank High School football team is hereby
congratulated for an outstanding 1993 football season and for
winning the state Class AA football championship; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Clerk is hereby directed to
forward a copy of this resolution to head coach Ralph Hensley andthe principal of East Bank High School, Richard Clendenin.
